Supreme Home Loans (SHL) wanted to make their growing loan distribution network more efficient, connected, and accessible, especially across rural and semi-urban regions of India, where financial inclusion remains a challenge. The agents were on the go constantly. They were visiting villages, meeting families, collecting loan applications, and doing manual follow-up either through calls or spreadsheets. The traditional method of working made it difficult to track leads and manage commissions, and it was hard to ensure the data was even accurate. Managers typically had no visibility in real time, and agents faced connectivity challenges in rural areas. SHL needed a mobile-first solution that was easy to use that would enable loan processing, connect agents and managers on one platform, and allow rural communities to access loans more simply and transparently. To bring this idea to life meant finding a mobile development agency that could think beyond technology; they needed a team that could design experiences specifically for the people who needed them most.
In an effort to make financial access easier for India's underserved rural and semi-urban communities, Supreme Home Loans wanted to modernize its loan distribution network, using technology not as a barrier but as a bridge.
Growing agents in the network of SHL, working across remote and low-connectivity regions relied on manual paperworks, calls, and spreadsheets.
This old system resulted in data inaccuracies, loan processing delays, and a lack of transparency in real time for managers.
Agents have faced difficulties in tracking leads, managing commissions, and keeping in touch with headquarters, especially while traveling between villages.
SHL required a mobile-first, human-centered, offline-capable platform that eased processes and empowered agents and managers alike.
The deeper challenge was not only digital transformation but also designing technology for people who had never used such systems before, keeping every interaction simple, inclusive, and reliable.
In essence, the challenge for SHL was to replace a fragmented and highly manual process with an intelligent and accessible ecosystem that would help bring financial inclusion to rural India, one mobile device at a time.
PRAKRIA has taken a very human-centered design approach, based on usability by agents in real-world, low-tech situations.
The strategy behind the design was to "make technology invisible"—to make the users focus on their work, not the interface.
Developed a mobile-first ecosystem, connecting field agents to their managers seamlessly through intuitive dashboards and real-time data syncing.
Implemented offline readiness, regional language support, and step-by-step workflows to make the platform inclusive and easy to adopt.
For managers, it created a centralized admin and analytics panel that allows for transparent lead tracking, commission management, and performance insights.
The strategy bridged human empathy with digital intelligence, aiming at designing for simplicity, scalability, and empowerment across India's most connectivity-challenged regions.
Designed a clean, intuitive mobile interface with step-by-step loan forms, ensuring clarity and comfort even for first-time users.
Integrated offline data storage and auto-sync features in order to maintain continuity in low-network areas.
Created a customized agent dashboard displaying leads, commissions, and key performance metrics that would drive motivation and ownership.
Designed a central admin system with real-time analytics to help managers keep track of lead progress and grant approvals smoothly.
Used visual design elements that reflected trust, simplicity, and optimism, in line with the SHL mission of empowering communities.
Supported the interface for regional language options and lightweight architecture, ensuring fast and stable performance in rural contexts.
PRAKRIA brings SHL's vision alive through an empathetic design and functional innovation, turning field operations into a digital movement for financial empowerment.
The launch of SHL transformed how Supreme Home Loans operated, driving financial empowerment where it matters most.
Faster loan access: Rural agents could now register new leads instantly, cutting down processing time drastically.
Offline continuity: Agents could continue their work without network dependency, no interruptions, no delays.
Better transparency: Managers gained complete visibility into lead progress, agent performance, and payouts.
Increased trust: Borrowers experienced faster responses, clearer updates, and more reliable communication.
Empowered workforce: Agents felt supported with digital tools that helped them serve their customers better.
By combining simplicity, empathy, and technology, PRAKRIA—one of the best web developers in the industry—helped SHL make loan access faster, fairer, and more inclusive across India’s rural communities.
This project goes beyond technology - it’s about financial inclusion and empowerment. SHL wanted to bring banking closer to rural families, and through this app, they achieved exactly that.
By integrating thoughtful UI/UX design services, intelligent architecture, and field-ready performance, SHL’s platform now helps rural agents deliver hope, opportunity, and growth, right from their smartphones.
For PRAKRIA, a creative UI/UX design agency, mobile development agency, and web solutions company, this project reaffirmed our belief that great design can change lives.
