At PRAKRIA, we don’t simply make visuals—we create connections of people to the thoughts through experiences.

Palmolive, a globally loved care brand, wanted to go beyond functional packaging and inspire a deeper emotional connection with consumers.
The goal was to transform the everyday shower into a moment of calm and self-care, a brief escape from the busyness of daily life.
The challenge was to design packaging that evokes emotion and experience, not just shelf appeal.
The design needed to balance beauty and purpose, creating a sense of serenity while staying true to Palmolive’s identity.
In essence, the brief was simple yet ambitious: “Don’t just design packaging. Create an experience.”
Our aim was to transform a simple bath kit into a sensory ritual, something that evoked indulgence, calm, and escape. The concept was named “European Bathing Treasures” to capture the charm of Europe’s most luxurious spa traditions.
We explored what makes a bath feel special: the scents, textures, and little details that create a ritual. The idea was to make every aspect of the experience, from visuals to structure, feel soothing and transportive.
Every element of the packaging was crafted to echo this European sensibility: Soft, tranquil colors reminiscent of lavender fields and Mediterranean shores. Elegant typography that conveyed premium quality while remaining warm and approachable. A structural design that unfolded gracefully, making the unboxing feel like a moment of calm and care.
The kit wasn’t just about holding products; it created an emotional experience. The act of opening it became part of the ritual, turning daily bathing into something to look forward to.
This was more than retail packaging, it was brand packaging design that elevated a routine purchase into a meaningful gift, blending aesthetics, emotion, and storytelling into one cohesive experience.
We studied spa rituals, nature, and art from across Europe to create boards that captured relaxation and luxury.
Early sketches explored how the box could look and feel, not just graphics, but the way it opened and held the bottles.
We crafted a box that was sturdy, elegant, and gift-ready. The package label design and outer visuals worked seamlessly with the structure.
Soft-touch textures, subtle foiling, and premium materials gave it that luxury feel without being over the top.
It was more than a box, it was a small piece of Europe, ready to be unwrapped.
When the Palmolive European Treasures kit launched, the reaction was instant. Shoppers didn’t just see soap bottles; they saw a thoughtful kit they could display, gift, or keep for themselves.
The design made it stand out on digital platforms and retail shelves.
Reviews praised not only the product quality but the beauty of the packaging itself.
The brand felt elevated, moving from “everyday” to “premium.”
Most importantly, it made customers feel that a daily shower could be a little escape.
This kit proved how powerful packaging design services can be:
Custom packaging design can turn a routine product into something giftable.
Innovative packaging design can connect cultures and emotions.
Packaging designers can go beyond graphics to create experiences.
Retail packaging design doesn’t just sell, it tells a story.
At PRAKRIA, we believe every box, bottle, and label is a chance to create a memory. And this project showed how packaging can become part of someone’s lifestyle, not just their shopping cart.
