For nearly two decades, PRAKRIA has been deeply involved in the food & beverage world—creating imagery, packaging, campaigns, and visual assets that make food look irresistible. At a certain point, the team realized, "We've built so many screen-licking visuals; we should show them all off." So the concept was born: create a Food CGI Reel—a showcase that brings together the best of their 3D design, 3D modeling, 3D animation, and VFX animation work in food, packaged in one cohesive, stunning visual experience. They needed a reel that doesn’t feel like just a demo reel but like a brand statement—a visual identity for their animation/CGI capabilities.
Having built deep expertise in the Food & Beverage space, the team at PRAKRIA decided to spotlight its full-fledged “food-CGI” capability with a showcase reel.
After nearly two decades of working in the food & beverage sector, PRAKRIA needed to demonstrate and elevate its 3D/CGI skillset in a way that was visible, exciting and convincing.
The challenge was to assemble a reel of “screen-licking visuals” high-impact, photo-realistic food renderings that could compete with live-action photography in quality and sensual appeal.
It required showcasing a range of food and beverage formats, each with its own textures, lighting and behavior (e.g., liquids, shine, steam) all in one seamless presentation.
The execution needed to speak to global clients and creative buyers, proving PRAKRIA’s readiness for premium, high-end visual projects.
In short, the challenge was to turn PRAKRIA’s behind-the-scenes craftsmanship into a visible, powerful statement of creative and technical excellence in food CGI.
We set out to craft a CGI reel that celebrated food as art, a curated visual narrative showcasing PRAKRIA’s mastery in digital food design and animation.
We gathered years of standout CGI work, dessert swirls, melting chocolate, fruit splashes, creamy pours, and textural close-ups and shaped them into a cohesive story of capability, style, and craft.
The reel was structured like a cinematic journey: 3D modeling & design formed the base ingredients, packaging, and textures built with high fidelity. 3D animation brought life and movement, liquids pouring, fruits splitting, creams swirling, and lights dancing. VFX layers added depth with droplets, mist, sparkles, and highlights. 2D overlays enhanced pacing and guided the viewer’s focus through each transition.
With meticulous editing, color grading, and sound design, the final reel became more than a showcase; it was a sensory experience, immersing viewers in the richness of flavor, texture, and visual indulgence.
We refined, polished, and tested across formats: full HD reel, looping short versions, social cuts, and demo edits. The final deliverables included:
